Rembuden Kendo Club 2024 National Champions!!!

On 25th & 26th May 2024 Rembuden Kendo Club competed at the NZ National Kendo Championships and won gold in all the events in an unprecedented winning performance.  Congratulations to the following members for thier fantastic results:

• Women's Individual: 1st Haruko Tsuzuki, 2nd Sui Ellin
• Men's Individual: 1st Max Lee, 2nd Rob Challies, 3rd = Zac Chai
• Women's Team: 1st Rembuden (Haruko Tsuzuki, Kumi Senoue-black, Sui Ellin)
• Men's Team: 1st Rembuden (Zac Chai, Max Lee, Rob Challies, Masaki Nakazono)
• Kata: 1st Rembuden (Max Lee, Rob Challies)

23 April 2024: Last Training with Shin Takada

24th Rembuden Kendo Taikai 21st & 22nd September 2024

The details for the 24th Rembuden Kendo Taikai have been finalised for 2024.  This annual kendo competition open to all-comers will take place over the weekend of 21st and 22nd September.  The information pack for 2024 can be found here:

Kendo Training Over Easter

The Recreation Centre is closed from Friday 29 March - Tuesday 2nd April (inclusive).  Therefore the last training for this week before Easter is Thursday 28 March.  The first training after Easter is Thursday 4 April.
