28 February 2025: Auckland International Kendo Seminar

We were lucky to meet and train with Kendo Hanshi 8th dan, Hideaki Takahashi Sensei at the Auckland International Kendo Seminar over the weekend.  Takahashi Sensei (1994 Men's Individual World Kendo Champion) coached the NZ Kendo team at the 2003 World Kendo Championships in Glasgow.  At that time Sachiyo was the women's team captain and won a prestigious fighting spirit award.  Besides the training it was good to renew this connection.
