December 6, 2023 at 12:22 AM Congratulations to Max and Zac who were selected in the New Zealand Men's team for the 19th World Kendo Championships in Milan Italy, 4-7 July 2024. They have both worked hard over the last couple of years to develop their kendo, achieve good results and realise this goal. Rembuden Kendo Club has a proud history in terms of NZ Representatives. In particular four of our members have been awarded fighting spirit awards at the World Kendo Championships: Gerard Egerton (Japan 1997), Sachiyo Lee (Scotland 2003 ), Rob Challies (Italy 2012) and Haruko Tsuzuki (Korea 2018). Keep training hard guys!
